Wow I thought I was giving some valuable advice based on advice I had from a Cummins Certified Mechanic when I got my first ISX with Variable Torque, his exact quote was "Don't be afraid to lug this motor unlike the older designed motors this motor will provide maximum torque at low rpms, it does not have to be run at high rpms to get maximum torque thus it will be more fuel efficient"
I didn't mean to start an I'm an expert and have more driving experience then you insulting others just to prove a point. I just run into several JCT guys complaining about fuel mileage and thought my idea may help. Shoot crank the rpms to 1700 every time you shift if you would like that's cool with me, it won't cost me a dime, matter fact most of those guys will quit and blame JCT for not making enough money thus leaving more loads for me...............
Oh yeah the person who told me about the lugging has 24 years experience as a Master Mechanic Certified with Cummins. Yes I should have specified that this advice was given to me driving a cummins motor. The Challenger, Alanp613 and RandolfB Thank this. -
Oh come on you have to tell now or at least PM me it's driving me nuts. It can't be worse then my test drive I hit 2 parked cars and crowded a police car into a ditch, along with dropping the drive shaft onto the ground from dumping the clutch and JCT still hired me.

Prtty good distance. The hotel will provide a shuttle on one of the week nights coming up. No help right now, I know, but that is the only answer I can give. I know it sucks, but... I did not have to worry about it, since I drove my pick up up there. In fact, it is still there! Again, not much help to you, eh?! I absolutley hate being anywhere and not having any transportation, thus, the pick up being there. I need to get up there with my wife and get it home.
Good luck this week. Not that you will need it, but a little can't hurt! -
All right...somebody fess up with the info on the swift driver.....the suspense is killing some of us!!!!! Remember, you're on our team now!!!
