I know that this a jct thread,but when i saw that jdrentzjr drives for crete i just need to know if driving for shaffer better is better than crete. I'm going to get a recert on 9-21-09 & i was just wandering.

why don't you get onto the crete thread??? he doesn't even get on here that often anyways. they are the same company, one is dry freight and one is reefer. so it depends on what you wanna haul.

All these posts are VERY irritating!! You drivers aren't irritating.... I'm saying it's irritating because JCT sounds like a good company and they won't give me a chance. I want to work at JCT soooo bad! I'm serious about leasing a truck and running some miles. I'm a solo driver and i live in Arizona City AZ. That is right between Eloy and Casa Grande. I applied to JCT and the recruiter DID call me. But she says that since i don't have recent 48 state experience, she can't hire me. But i have been driving the western 11 states and TX for the last 3 years. I do have 48 state experience but it is in 2000-2003 and then again in 2005-2006!

 

I was curious if there was anyone else set to start orientation on Oct. 12, My Wife and I will be flying into Tulsa on the 11th from Philadelphia or Baltimore depending on flights. Looking forward to meeting everyone, Thanks Vette

 

I sent an email later that afternoon, after i talked to the recruiter, to Daniel Christner and to the general mail box for recruiting. I asked them to reconsider my qualifications and give my app a second chance. That was 3 days ago but i haven't heard back from them. The recruiter i talked to 3 days ago told me i didn't have enough RECENT experience. Cuz i haven't driven 48 states since August of 2006. It's not because of where i live. I do have a total of 4 years of driving 48 states. I still remember how to do it....

Actually had a DM call and ask me to swap with someone today. I had to decline this time so I would have some decent miles before going home. He seemed to understand...
