Thank you Alan for explaining. does JCT do this for a specific reason?

    LMB,

I feel for you and the yard man. Granted their will be times like this but how can people live in dirty smelly trucks like the one you described?

    KINGHUNTER,

what do you mean do they do it for a specific reason? like the taking the truck payments out or postponing the payments for 3 weeks?? If it's the postponing part like i said it's to help the drivers catch up on their finances while they had to quit their previous job to spend a week of no pay in orientation and also you wouldn't get paid til the week after you turn in your first trips.

Alan; have you ever got detention time on a tyson load???? This one dropped dead at 04:18 this morning, and still not ready. It is rare for a team to sit this long

    Alan,

I thought it was standard procedure for them to do deduct truck payments immediatly and wanted to know why. You explained it perfectly in your last post. No offense to anyone. I just did not understand the reasoning behind it.

Not only do they defer your first payment, but the give you your first full tank of fuel free. We worked four week before they deducted our first payment

Nope JCT doesn't pay any detention on tyson loads. There's rumor that tyson pays them for it. But haven't gotten a verification on that. But yea tyson sometimes takes way longer than the drop dead time.

Can anybody explain to me JCT's hiring practices? I was just recently turned down for employment. I have 5 years trucking experience and 2 years with the current company I am working for now. In all my time trucking I have no accidents or tickets. What gives?

Well it needs to be otr experience. Also they check if you have been bouncing from one job to the other. I believe they're booked til like january and thas probably why they turned you down. They aren't looking for anymore for now. Sorry to hear that they won't accept u now but just keep at it. Someone that's booked now could change their mind
