Fair enough. We are all capable of making errors and "mis-stating" the truth once in a while. Takes a big man to admit he made a mistake though. Congratulations you not only show wisdom but humility as well. -
I'm just a little fella

Have not been a member long enough to send msgs. To answer you, We have regular freight in and out of Nothwest. With JCT you can pick where you do not want to run. I don't go to NW anymore but run mainly OK/AR to CA. I only run nites if under hot load, otherwise am in bed by 10 or 11 and sleep until I wake up. Main corridors are 80, 40, 70, and 10. Reefers are not hard if you pay attention. Orientation covers them in detail and JCT has them set up so they practically run themselves. I average between 3300 and 3600 miles per week, not getting rich but not hurting either. Am in LA now to unload in morning; left Tulsa, OK, yesterday morning. Well, headed to bed
. Will try to check back in am.
knighton5 Thanks this. -
I'm going to seriously consider this company after my time in the Navy is done. Either this or try Marten again.

Does JCT run forced dispatch? A couple of the posts indicate they do, but a couple more indicate that you can refuse a load.
As to the make of trucks, I did see a Columbia on the road the other day. Most have been the aforementioned makes though.
I will be applying to JCT in the near future. Need to get my wife back to work first though. -
They DO NOT run forced dispatch
Might have been a Cascadia not a columbia -
You can refuse any load but you will lose the paid deadhead miles and they will try very hard to talk you out of it.
-
Also, a few of the more senior drivers who joined in 05 or earlier are still in Columbias because there is too much money already invested in them to give them up.
-
It was a Columbia. Like Solitare said, it might have been a senior driver.
