Hi Z8,
I am KH and know a lot of basics about this company. They have the miles there as long as your willing to run. The hometime I do not know about but LMB, Jarbo, alan, or excel can answer that. I know they deduct maintenance, fuel, lease payments out of your pay. There is pay stub posted somewhere in this thread. The carges will be discussed in oritentation where you will fill out all the paperwork. The truck selection is based upon what is availible that day you are in oritentation. Hope this helps.

Hey there, Z.
As I have stated on here several times, I was skeptical about switching to JCT. I like stability, and was at a job that averaged 3200 miles per week minimum. I loabored over the decision, as I was jumping from the "known to the un-known". It was NOT a decision I took or made lightly. I asked some questions of others when I saw them, and also on this thread. I can honestly say I have NOT ONCE LOOKED BACK OR REGRETTED THE MOVE. If I had to do it all over again, I would simply not wait so long! That is the only change I would make. DO IT SOONER!!!
There is nothing hidden in the lease, and if you don't like it, or the company, for ANY reason, you can simply walk away with NO penalty. I don't see that happening to me, or anyone that wants to make a good and honest living. Miles are there for those who want them, and hometime is YOUR choice. No one pushes you to do anything. If you like to be, or need to be micro managed, JCT isn't for you. But, if you want to control your self, don't hesitate. If you have any questions, just ask. We are all here to help.
As the long winded JARBO said, If you didn't call the recruiter today......"

Well I arrived in Carlisle PA yesterday and droped my last load! I went in this morning and turned in all my paperwork that I needed to, had my truck inspected and turned in the keys. It was a little hard to say goodbyes and all but I think I have defiantly made the right move! Waiting now on the parents to pick me up and return to Delaware to join my wife and get ready for Saturdays flight to Tulsa. Holly, my recruiter, called just a little while ago to finalize my arrival plans.
It was a nice feeling to leave with alot of good wishes and good lucks and know that I will be welcomed back either to visit or get my job back if needed! I even got a few messages wishing me well from corporate in Green Bay and thank me for my service, I never expected that. These huge company's that treat u like a number, not a name.... Maybe sometimes that is not always true. I hope my parents get here soon as I already miss my Pumpkin and its a short walk back!! Nay I think I'll get to Tulsa and join all u havin so much fun
I Can't wait to meet everyone, see u all soon!

The only time I worked for a "big" company was back in '91 and as many of you know times were very different then. My point is this, maybe some of you have seen this before I don't know, but, if your on the fence and wonder what kind of company JCT is, I just used my qualcomm to order flowers for my daughters birthday and then it was followed up by a sweet lady from the office calling me to make sure they got it right.
The bill will be taken out of my settlement next week and I can just keep rollin'.
My point is that JCT really does support you and go the extra mile so you can too.
I tried to keep it short herkyboy
dabs Thanks this.
