Thanks King! Yea i absolutely recall reading those posts yesterday from Vulcan and Excel..
Love to run, drives me absolutely nuts sitting around, that's the problem I've had with who I've worked for in the past..never enough miles for me, I HAVE to go go go go..what's a bathroom break? lunch? thanks but i'll pass, i'll have time for all that when I stop for some sleep lol..
Love how I get passed 3-4 times a day by the same truck, they are hammer down 75mph to get to the next truckstop, do whatever it is they do there and hammer down again..lmao..and me knowing all along that badboy ain't getting but 4-4.5mpg running like that while i'm getting 6.5-7 running 65 with a T600/3406/13spd w/ 1.2mill on her lol..and that guy will usually be the one b*$#&ing on the radio at night about how he's not making any money and will have to sell his truck soon..
Anyhow, lol...really hoping I can get in..got 20+years of management and financial background before I started driving, should be interesting to be able to finally use that for myself in my own truck..

    Alanp613 Thanks this.

Must go to different plants than I do. All the ones I go to have a concrete strip down them to put the gear on. Still have to crank the ones I pick up down tho before I hook to them.

How much do you guys save off the pump with JTC? are you guys paying $1.25 per gallon after fuel surcharge or is it less. Thanks

Surcharge is capped at 1.30. So the better mpg the less per gallon u pay. At the j u get 2 cents off paid every quarter. At loves u get 3 cents off cash price and ta u get 6 cents off cash price

I am one of those drivers who likes to be hammer down.I used to be a driver in a slow truck who would see these guys that would fly by me.I too would see them 3,4,sometimes 5 times in one day and then end up at the same truck stop for the night. What I would find most interesting is that I would leave b4 them as well. How does that work?Yeah I usually only get about 5.2 to 5.5 depending on where I am.However I could care less I still get 1k or higher in the end depending on the week.I could make more money but I don't care about that either.I am single with one child who is 10.I don't have many expenses at all save child support,ps3 games for my son, internet connection, cellphone, and property taxes.I also use skype to help my son with his homework or just talk every night around 7pm or 8pm so I got to go,go,go.As far as property taxes go I own some land on the Tennessee River. One day I will build a cabin there and go fishing all the time but until then I am driving my life away. You won't see me 3 or 4 times in one day because I don't stop unless there's a red light or stop sign,or traffic.I run 7 to 8 hours non stop almost every day.I did that when I had my slow truck and dreamed of the day where I could get a faster one and use it to its full potential.I am not knocking you guys in any way.Maybe one day I too will slow down and get better mileage.I will tell you that if fuel keeps going up I will most certainly slow down but until then I am down the road.I do slow down a bunch where it is required like sharp curves, steep downgrades, construction zones, and things of that nature. Some might say I was too cautious but that is impossible there is no such thing. That would be the same as saying somebody had too much money or air to breathe.Oh hey if you happen to be traveling in North Carolina southbound on I 85 at night watch out for the unmarked crossover in the construction zone at night you won't see it until you get there. It's around exit 200.

Hey man I hear you loud and clear, whatever works for you is the way to go. Not bashing them drivers that run wide open, just stating things that will help most make more and succeed with jct that's all. Hey if you don't got bills to worry about and just in for the joy of trucking, go for it. :)
