Who knows, it was probably a way for them to keep drivers out here last year. And this year they got plenty of drivers thinking they'll get it and found out they didn't. Who knows our last raise was 4 yrs ago

Funny you mention at Vulcan...They opened the interstate for a, as they called it, Very short window, in order to get rid of some of the backlog of trucks. So, I, being the dedicated JCT driver that I am (trying to keep pace with Alan!), got on the hiway and headed East. Tokk 3 1/4 hours to get to Cheyenne, but I got out of Rawlins, so I was happy about that. First thing this AM, my DM calls and asks, "you good for on time?"......
Maybe! -
Thanks to everyone for all the birthday greetings. It is appreciated. Jarbo, I did have help with the candles since the wind was blowing 50 MPH. Otherwise it would have been touch and go.
No Thanksgiving bonus becasue Alan got it all!!!! -

Finally this morning we got loaded and have been on the road since heading to AR for our drop!
2 nights at the shipper
thought we were doing ourselves and everyone else a favor by getting there early before the storm had settled in. What that did was get us stuck there for the two nights ( the plant workers did not have to show up because of the storm)
, but then we most likely might have been stuck SOME where for at least 24-36 hours. No detention for weather related delays... even if this shipper's crew didn't have to come in... we didn't think so, but figured we would ask. I was hoping someone would come with a basket of Wisconsin cheese to hold us over, but dang no such luck... LOL! JK
Hey... we're rollin' now!
And yup... Allen... we aren't the only yeller trucks in the fleet, though I don't think there are many! -
I really think that information is kinda personal, but if he wants to answer thats up to him
