Been here for a month, here are miles/earnings...

    11/18 1761 miles $1178.06 take home

    - JCT missed one of my fuel tickets
    - I got 150 gals of free fuel, 1st fill up is on JCT
    - Had 1 set of Centramatic Wheel Balancers installed on steers $100.26, did not take from escrow

    11/25 4047 miles $1534.58 take home

    12/2 2585 miles $827.35 take home

    - Additional expense of $72.27 deducted for flowers for my Honey via QualComm

**From here on the Truck Lease Payment kicks in at $547.26 per week**

12/9 2885 miles $514.20 take home after truck payment

    - JCT took out the previously mentioned fuel ticket that they missed on 11/18 pay
    - I had a minor repair that I did not take out of escrow

    Next 2 settlements ESTIMATED AMOUNTS

12/16 3628 miles $1205.62 ESTIMATED INCOME after truck payment

12/23 4099 miles $1389.48 ESTIMATED INCOME after truck payment

I figure I will average about .34 cpm take home with this truck. I am driving an 07 Pete 379 and can't seem to get my mpg over 5.6 on a good day. With a heavy load and with the winds from this weather lately, I am actually down around 4.6 to 4.8 mpg. At the worst weather and strongest winds I was around 4.4 mpg.

-My truck payment is $547.26 per week.

-Fixed Expenses are $154.81 per week, which include..
    ---QualComm Usage $11.53 week
    ---INS-Liability $7.62 week
    ---INS-Occ/Acc $36.62 week
    ---INS-Phys Damage $70.06 week
    ---Drivers Legal Plan $3.98 week
    ---Performance Escrow** is $25.00 per week until reach $1000.00 {for Insurance Deductible in case of accident}

**NOTE---After Performance Escrow is made, Fixed Exp will be $129.81 & NO you cannot take money out of your Maint Escrow to put into the Performance Escrow to get it paid faster. You CAN however make extra payments on your Performance Escrow if you choose...NOT!

    -Maintenance Escrow is .07 cpm

-EFS fuel fee is .75 cents per transaction, JCT splits the actual $1.50 fee with us

-During orientation, you get 2 load locks, choice of thermometers for pulping, and a trailer lock. My total came out to be $133.00 which was deducted the first 4 weeks at $33.25 per week.

-Physical and drug Screen total is $76.00 and is deducted at $19.00 for first 4 weeks.

-a $25.00 deposit on EZ Pass unit was deducted on 11/25 settlement. No deposits on Pike Pass and PrePass.

-I do not have a side note {down payment} nor do I have an APU payment.

I think that pretty much covers settlements. If I left anything out, please let me know.

    P.S.
That"s about as personal as I am willing to get. Don't even think about asking for my social security # or my first born :biggrin_25523:
    Ain"t happenin" :biggrin_25513:

:biggrin_25525: jist sayin" is all :biggrin_25525:

AGAIN, Whatcha waitin fer...make the call to JCT TODAY !!!

    P.S.S.
I read the posts about the shop and I would just like to say that so far, I have had good experience with the shop. Royce got a Drag Link for the steering arm replaced for me at no charge. I believe it was about a $700.00 repair bill, not positive on the dollar amount.

I think it is a good thing that even the negative occurrences are posted on here. That way everyone can make their own decisions based on all comments.

I have to say you guys provide far more info then anybody else. Matter of fact where else would anybody even ask how much a person makes, and to have it broken down to the penny, and actually have people respond. Typically that is taken to be privileged info, and I think Miss Manners would find it outside of proper etiquette. But I do find it helpful, and informative. Still blows me away, that this is just about the only thread that is about 98% positive, that has to say something.
To all, thanks, and most of all be careful.

REMEMBER...Depending on your truck AND the way you drive, you could do better. As I said, my mpg are not great, actually my mpg bites. And I will be trading this truck in for one that gets better mpg when my 3 months are up. Then my avg take home will go up.

Also, this is after ALL expenses including my truck payment and fuel.

Caps out at $5000.00 -OR- if you want it to continue, just let JCT know and Maint Escrow can accumulate forever.

Thank You, Thank You Very Much !! :biggrin_2555:

I feel folks should have as much info as possible. After all, this decision could make or break ya financially. And if you have a family to support, Miss Manners goes out the window since you definitely need all the info you can get. Nothing is rude in my book when it comes to making financially sound decisions for your family. All info is a necessity. This is a MAJORLY BIG decision to make. Nothing worse than making the jump to lease/buy a truck and falling on your face. That can ruin everything you hold dear.

I am quite happy with my choice and wish I had come to JCT sooner. This is just my first month, and a couple of weeks my miles were under 3000 miles. I had loads that allowed me to stop by the house to see my Honey since I was not going to be taking time off till Christmas. As everyone can see, my miles picked up when I was not going thru the house.

The first 3 months are a test to see if you got what it takes, and to find out if you are compatible with JCT. So far, I am getting it done and happy doing it, and making the money I need to make.

Just remember that the .07 cents per mile is part of your income, so if you add it to your .34 you are getting .41 cents per mile. The performance bond is also your income. I run between 62 and 66 mph, and depending on weight we average 6.4 mpg in our freightliner classic. I have never dropped below 10th gear on any grade with any weight. To get any millage with these trucks you have to drive them , not set the cruise on 70 and go down the road. Our profit margin is at 49.66% for the year, we will end up with 326,000 paid miles this year
