Whats with all the effort to come on here and try to bash the fine folks that are happy doing what they are doing, and happy with how they are getting it done. I don't understand. Nobody came over the the Usf thread and bashed you, your equipment or the company you work for. Nobody asked for you prove your pay, but you feel you need to come to this thread and spread hate... Whatever works for yah.

I just spent the last couple days driving a Prostar (company truck at that) and have to say, after driving my share of Petes, Kw's and Freightliners, that Prostar was pretty slick. For a truck the ride was smoother than I expected with the short nose and setback front axle. Turning radius and ability to back was above par. Truck, again a company truck, had all the bells and whistles that I would need to get the job done. A mess of storage compartments and closets, more than KW T600.

What is with all the ProStar bashing? If you do not like them DO NOT DRIVE one. I wish you would leave these guys alone that choose to own one.
Why make it so personal. I am sure the JCT drivers on this thread are capable of making rational decisions when it comes to truck selections.

Ahh let it go guys every so often some gets told that thay don't have what it takes or comes here and proves it. Then that have no other way to feel better so they bash. People who always need someone else to blame for their short comings need not apply.

This is a great company with many great drivers whom have become very good friends of mine. One that is even coming to my house for Christmas dinner. When you get a truck here it's because you choose to. Sure I liked the looks of my Pete but my prostar makes me more money to support my family. Yes it's an ugly truck from the out side but once behind the wheel it's a very nice truck. I have never driven a daycab so I don't know how they drive and honestly don't care.

Socal, we all come here to help other drivers and answer questions for the ones that don't want to be company drivers, that want to run their own business. If you only want to bash people please find another place to do that. You are taking away from what we are trying to do.

    Thanks.

SOCAL you might not quit your "90K" year job ,but by the looks of it YRC is on its last legs, so like all the other union guys that think your gravy train will never run dry.... just wait long enough and it will.

A truck is a truck is a truck.... as long as your happy with what your driving and your making money with it..... who cares what others think. When I strarted at the company im with the service manager said "im going to put you in an International" and I said "as long as its safe, road worthy and makes both of us money, I don't care if you put me in a 1 stack Mack with a window in the back"
I hope all of you guys and gals at JCT have a safe and Merry Christamas.

So far it is. But thanks for the info. I'm very aware of what a recall sheet is. You get them with anything you buy that is new. I got one with every new car I've got over the years and they come with trucks as well! They are nothing new. You get them on petes, kws, freight shakers and yes even prostars. My suburban has them, herkys Harley has em too! Anyone that has ever bought a new car is aware of a recall notice.

Maybe you could email it to usf and they will only make you pull 2 trailers.

    Thanx to all.

Please say a special prayer for our fellow drivers that were left stranded & out in the cold, and also for their families. May they still have a Merry Christmas
and may they be blessed with new & better jobs to provide for them.

    Please God, Bless Us All.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL

My wife and I ran into two drivers at the Sky City Casino/Truck Stop on our way into Cali. They were using the last of their diesel to stay warm, they have family that were in the process of sending money to the casino who will help to get them home. One drivers last three checks bounced, the other two. I have no sympathy for the kid who inherited the company from his father who died in a plane crash! :biggrin_25510:
