just spoke with the service manager, and the truck is put back together and about to go out for a test drive. if all is well I should be able to get back on the road just in time for the approaching ice storm!

Well Daddy and I signed our Volvo onto JCT and have been on the road with them now for three weeks. We're a little worried as we aren't getting the same miles as the other teams from our orientation. Is there any other O/O running their own trucks with JCT? If so how you guys doing?
-
Our miles have slowed also. We're on a load to Sparks that delivers 3am Saturday, and we could have been there tonite(Thurs)

January is always the slow month. It will pick back up around march. There are plenty of O/O running their own trks. Don't know if any are on here. Most of them think they are too good to talk to us
dabs Thanks this. -
Maybe they are,,,,,,I don't think so

FINALLY got the Igloo back. Thankfully, all was covered by warranty, except freight charges for the clutch kit. So, I had to pay $30.00, but International is paying the $2800.00! I'll take that trade off any day. Service manager said it is a common problem with this particular brand of clutch. All of a sudden, the pedal just got hard, and the gears were grinding a bit, so those of you with a Prostar, pay attention!dabs Thanks this.

Well I finally am able to get online. Sitting out here in Riverside, CA for the 2nd time this week. Delivered Tues mornin at Walmart DC here. Reloaded in Colton. Did a relay in Tonopah at the TA. Now here I am waiting for McLane to open up in the morning so I can kick this chicken off. So, what all have I missed out on? I hear the weather going east is getting pretty bad?

Oh! And as for my new air dryer going out the 1st day, JCT paid for it. That was a big "Whew!" Not too impressed with the fuel mileage this truck is getting. Still trying to find the seet spot. So far, according to the qualcom, at 60mph I was getting 5.3 - 5.4, at 65mph I was getting 5.2 - 5.3 Funny thing tho, last night I was running 72mph across I-10 and it was showing I was getting 5.4 Weird, huh? How accurate are these qualcoms anyways?

By the way my fellow and fellowette JCT'ers, I only brought the bare necessities to orientation with me. I haven't been home yet since my 1st dispatch. I dusted off an ol Galaxy 99 that I had at the house and threw it in a suitcase. I have it hooked up but don't have any volume. Guess it needs an overhead lol So, if yall hollar at me going down the road and I don't reply, it's not me being stuck up lol I see the needle moving. All I can do is offer a friendly wave for now.
dabs Thanks this.
