I lived in the area and have always heard good things about JCT, but never drove for them when they still had Co. drivers. Also it's not unusual for a Co. to run you to death when you first Lease on and then start shorting you on miles for what ever reason; bad Dispatcher, slow economy, lack of Freight etc. etc. Piss off your dispatch and you will pay, I can assure you ! Been in the trucking Ind. over 30 yrs. and have witnessed many travesties some warrented and some not.

JCT seems to run most of the people who cand handle it, about the same miles and does not base it on how long you have been here. -

well good morning JCT drivers, i am thinking about joining JCT, does anyone know if they hire out of Washington state. I will be running solo, I have 10yrs otr, and about 5 years in washington and oregon. My job right now im loosing too many hours and i need to pay bills. I have spoken to the wife and kids and we all agree to make a move but i want to make sure i can support them, and not go sit a truck stops. So I have read your post from many drivers but i want to make sure JCT is the right move. I am worry as some of you had been before attending orientation. I am a hard worker and driving is what i do. So work doesnt scare me as long as ia m getting paid. todays is 2/8/2010.any current up date on the trucks and th e pay will be greatly appreciated, since most of the threads are ols, i want to make sure you are all still making good money. Thank you and god bless you all, and stay safe.

As stated by many of the drivers, many times, the only regret was waiting so long to make the switch. Call a recruiter, and they will explain everything you need to know. Also, as many of us have pointed out numerous times, many of your questions can be answered by reading over this forum. Don't cry about the "hi how are you"'s, just ignore those. There is a huge amount of info contained here. If you then have a question that is not answered, by all means ask, and you will get an answer.
Good luck in your decision. My best advice is stop waiting, and make the call. You won't regret it.
