Alan,I Was NOT Criticizing. How Do I Know How Long He's Been Pulling A Reefer? I Still Remember Sitting At Coolers All Day(in Salinas) Waiting To Get Loaded. This Was B4 Palletized,Wayyyyy B4 Your Time Alan,And They Still Hand Loaded. I Used To Help Setoff(you old timers know what i'm talking about) And Then Back To A Dock And HELP Load My Own Trl. Just For Somthing To Do, Instead Of Just Sitting There Waiting For The Roach Coach. A Lot Of These Loaders And Pushbacks Knew My Dad(also a driver) And Got To Know Me And Started Putting Me In A Hole EARLY To Get Me On My Way. This Was Back In The Day When They Would EXTORT Money,Beer From The Drivers Just To Get Loaded! You Also Had To TIP The Numbers Taker To Come Let You KNOW When It Was Your Turn To load. Anyway This Is How I Spent My Time Waiting ALL DAY. Anyway I'm Backout,10-4?

 

Vulcan1999,I'm NOT Bad Mouthing You Or Trying To Put You Down In Any Way. Instead I'm feeling For You. I HATE And ALWAYS Have Hated The Way Shippers And Receivers Treat Us!!!! As Far As I'm Concerned They Should Have To PAY Us For ALL The B.S. They Put Us Thru At $100+ An Hour For EVERY HOUR After The First. TRUST ME I'm FEELING YOUR PAIN. 10-4?

 

Sitting in IL... waiting for instructions as to what to do with rejected peppers.

Still got one more leg to go... Cleveland area to drop in the morning. How long does it usually take for them to know what to tell you to do on the rejects? I suppose it varies, eh? I hate burning daylight sitting and waiting... could be moving, could be doing laundry, etc.

AMEN to the 100+ an hour part u know for those shippers and rcvrs that treat us like crap. I guess they don't want their product shipped or received. One day when truckers say we've had enough of ur BS they'll be screwed. But we all know that's just wishful thinking. There always will be someone that will take it up their behind

 

U and randy can start eatting them?? Lol jk well depends on where yall loaded, they gotta contact the shipper and yada yada could take 30 mins to several hours. Depends on how many cases yall have rejected. If its like 2-3 they tell u to just toss them most the time.

And guess what dabs, I had a whole truck load of cookie dough want some???

 

It was 128 cases... two pallets worth, so we ended up going up to Chicago to another buyer that would take them. Hmmm.... A truck load of cookie dough... YUM!!!

 

What's up with everyone trying to cut into my action???? It's apple pie and jarbo! That's all any one needs to know!

Well Jarbo, I decided to slide on in to the rocket chair and in process got handed strawberries and cookie dough by wonderful Dabs and her lovely hubby, Randy. In the process, I saw you trying to get some so I sped off in hopes of eating it all by myself. Umm umm umm good.
