That driver is from New Mexico (if I remember correctly) Nice guy. He bought the truck from somewhere other than JCT and leased on. Not uncommon, BTW. JCT has good miles and treats their drivers well. I'm sitting in Lufkin, TX right now waiting for this load of dead chickens that's going to Casa Grande. This week is a 4000 mile week for me, and I run solo. I guess I could start my own topic giving how my life is at JCT, but LMB has done an awesome job. I've been here since August, and the only complaint I could come up with is the idiots in our shop. That's it. So I just get everything done away from the yard, and I'm happy.

Not only stay away from the yard, but STAY AWAY FROM TA GARAGES ALSO
-
I heard that from another driver in Ontario, who do you recommend? Or just find a descent place that you trust? DRIVE SAFE
-
Sounds like you have a good (bad) story to tell. I would love to hear some details.

Stay away from TA mile marker 37 on I-40 NC. They use recycled oil on thier oil changes. They did not remove old oil filter gascat before installing new filter, had oil sprayed all over my clean engine. They thought it was funny, They tried to charge me for my own gallon of Lucas.
TA Cochella. supposed to be a Freightliner service center. Try and get a freigtliner part. Closest dealer 94 miles away. They want to charge you $169.00 to go get parts. I could go on , but thats enough -
We get all services done at Speedco and anything else the Truck goes to a Peterbilt.
We have also had fun with the TA AND REPAIRS.

Speedco here also. What I can't do myself, that is. I even usually go to the Speedco in Ripon, CA. I've grown to know the manager pretty well, and trust their work. My problem with MOST shops is that the mechanics are nothing more than a wrench turner. They don't have a clue how to actually be a mechanic. I want someone working on my truck that actually knows what they're doing. They are just extremely hard to find. I pretty much grew up in a truck, and have known some awesome mechanics. It makes it hard to deal with what's available now.
jess-juju Thanks this. -
I like the lube place in Sayre, OK right across the street from the "J". If I can't get there I go to speedco, or Petro in Eloy. TA was a one shot deal, no more

LMB, I would be pi$$$$ and demand a wash on the engine compartment from the MIC. Theres no way in he!! I would put up with this unacceptable behavior from a service center. Theres no excuse for recycled oil and a dirty engine compartment.

Already had one argument with the BIC (bimbo in charge) about my own gallon of Lucas, I din't want to go another round with her. Just glad to get outta there
