I worked for jct for about 5 months. I made decient money, the office personel seemed to take the time out to learn my voice. But the company seems to be anal. After running Illegal for weeks at a time and telling them i need to reset my hours and I'm burned out they would give me hard time about it and try to screwtanize my log book. When you go thru orrientation you are up from 6:30 am to 5 or 6 pm and you have to go back to the motel and still finish filling out paper work till 11 0r 12 at night. If you are looking to make money and can deal with only getting 2 to 6 hours of sleep a day they are a good company. And dont be more than 15 minutes late. they watch your every move from temps to time and where you are at. and you have to make about 4 check calls a day on the qualcum. loaded or empty

Sighs I wake up to this bs?? A little exaggeration there??? Let me start debunking your bs. 4 chk calls a day???? More like 2 on the qualcomm. One in the morning with your hours and temp. Then one in afternoon with just temps. They need to make sure you are keeping an eye on the load!!

Don't be more than 15minutes late?? (No crap genius, there's a appt time for a reason)

Now you claim you were running illegal for weeks, have you requested a repower??

How are they scrutinizing your log book???

2-6 hours sleep. If you drive your 11 and not screw around at trk stops you would have plenty if time.

So after your rant I see nothing the company did wrong. You yourself is the one driving the truck not the company. If you don't think you can run legal, request a repower.

Ok. I spent almost a month on the road with Grizz and I've NEVER heard the QC ask for a temp call more than twice. 2 to 6 hours a day sleep?? Not when I was on board. BUT I will admit, I just got back from a 15 hour stint and I'm off to bed for about 6 hours then back at it again, don't tell the DOT that though.....................:Police car::biggrin_25523:
