If ya'll don't mind, would like to back up 50 pages or so and talk about the pulp thermometers. One of ya'll said something about opening up the inspection doors and checking the temp with it. What would be the approximate difference between what your reefer is set at and what you would read at the back inspection door. Also, do you mostly just worry about that when your hauling produce?
We were issued a pulp thermometer but never use them since all our inspection doors are either welded closed or have a seal on them that we're not supposed to break.

You need to chk the temp at back door regardless of the type of freight. Only time u don't need to is dry freight or insp door sealed. Otherwise just leave ur thermometer in the duct tape that's in most the trailers.

When its sealed on ur macro 2 just put box reading and make note on the comment section that rear door is sealed

Temps between the box and rear door should be no more than a 5 degree up or down. Unless it has a bulkhead in there it should be pretty close.

Hey Dabs, what was wrong with the heat in your truck? did ya get it fixed?

I'm sitting at the Petro in York,NE getting a PM done on my way to Sherman,TX for 0830 delivery tomorrow. Feeling under the weather today so it's making for a tough day.

I have a fairly new DM. New to me and new to JCT. So far, he has done pretty good as far as keeping me rollin. One of the night DM's misinformed me about the drop dead ship time. I couldn't figure out why they needed 36 hours to deliver a load 854 miles away. Go figure! lol They must have a different route lol but ok. Conagra I assume was behind on loading. Was just informed by my DM a lil while ago that my delivery appt for Walmart has been moved up a whopping 1 hour. Yippee! So overall, he has done pretty good. I'm sure we will bump heads sooner or later tho lol
