That's actually a difficult question to answer. If you have to get a long nose, I think the Freightliner Classic is the most aerodynamic. (The reason for this belief is watching how much the different trucks create wind around them. Pete's tend to create the most) I've heard that when it comes to a battle between the ProStar and the Cascadia, that the ProStar does better. Basically, if you're looking for fuel economy, look at a sloped nose truck. The more aerodynamic it is, the better the fuel economy. One of the hardest things about fuel economy is the fact that no 2 trucks are going to perform exactly the same. You can take a driver to two identical trucks, drive exactly the same, and produce different numbers. And once you add in the fact that no two drivers perform identical to each other, it becomes hard to guess how well a truck is going to do for you.

I noticed in another forum you posted yor settlements a few times. How long have you been with JCT and what type of rig are you running Grizz?
-
It just seems to me that I work harder and the percentage earned balancing between extra fuel purchased, maintenance done, maintenance withheld on a per mile basis starts to drop after that point. I have to start taking shorter more cost intensive runs with more down times to cover logs unless I can work a 34-break. Now this can be just me. I know a lot of people that run more than that, but I only push the envelope so far. I still make more money with this company than any other in my 20+ years.
