I believe its the getting used to paper logs that he's worried about. He's only been using the electronic kind.

There is a CSA 2010 poster hanging in the break room. That's the extent of what I've heard from JCT. LOL I read in a newspaper while at Cummins last week that the rollout of CSA 2010 has been delayed by about a year. Apparently there are problems with some of the states coming on board. I don't think any of us will have any problems with CSA 2010, as the main thing it does is makes us personally responsible for our inspections and tickets. (linking them to a personal safety score) JCT seems to get rid of the safety risks pretty quick. The big thing with it is to keep your nose clean, and you'll be fine. Just remember that ANY write-up you get at a scale will affect your safety score. Pulling a trailer with bad brakes (visions of my Amarillo experience a couple months ago flashing here) will directly impact YOU if found at a scale. I really like most of what I see with the new laws.

Which breakroom? I'm in the shop breakroom now. Nothing in here about CSA 2010. Unless it got taken down already.

Keeping your nose clean is not going to be enough as CSA 2010 is right now. The 2 accidents that I've had, which were ruled non preventable, are going to count against me. CSA makes NO difference as to who was at fault. Heard that on the Lockeridge report the other day.
