mwatts747 I have to ask this just so I know when I finally get there as well as I'm sure there re others wondering where did this expense come from? Since you have only had the truck a few months? If it was on your maintenance bill why? Thanks. TD.

Wow 583k and already need inframe. Sorry the previous drivers didn't keep the truck in mint condition.

Has anyone ever completed the JCT lease deal, gave their $1 buyout fee, and received a free n clear title?

WOW! Kinda early for an inframe. That's one of the problems with starting with a used high mileage truck... you don't know how it was maintained before you. The mileage isn't the issue. I've known trucks to go 1 million before an inframe or something major. But how it was maintained, serviced, etc. plays the biggest role. But now you have pretty much a new motor and here comes the decision..... do you keep the truck now knowing that you just got an inframe and other new goodies..... or do you trade it in for a newer truck with lower miles and warranty with higher payments??

Yes. I have talked to several fellow JCT'ers that have completed a lease. After the lease and the truck was paid for, some kept it leased on. Some parked it at home and took on another lease. Some hired a driver and they now sit at home and let the money come to them. Some have took the paid off truck to a dealership and traded in for a new truck. Yes, it sounds hard to believe but the $1 is true.
