i am not a big fan of the prostars the one i had i could never quite get the allignment right ....they ran ok on flat ground at 60 mph they are specced with 264 rears and direct drive transmissions so whatever you do dont take em in the hills .....and the egr/dpf systems were constantly putting me into the shop and lets not get into the lack of cabinets but they handled well.....my advice jct is taking 01 and newer trucks you can get yourself one hell of a deal on a used truck right now would consider an 03 or older truck with a better rearend settup like 355 so you can pull the hills a little better ....just my opinion

There is a big area on what the average driver stays out. Sorta depends on the individuals bills, how much they are wanting or needing to make, etc. Some stay out a couple weeks. Some stay out couple months. Some even longer. Don't base how long you need to stay out on the next driver. He may be living at home with his momma lol

Ummmm..... I run legal strictly by the book. No violations. You will find out more once you get to orientation and out on the road. Not a good question to ask publicly.

Whew! 10-4 on that! Been doing the same here. I guess I had to break something just so that I could get a break lol I'm loving the miles & loads. I get on here when I can. But sometimes my pillow gets a lil bossy at the end of the day lol

Sorry to hear that. You definitely need to have a talk with your DM. If that doesn't work take the next step up. No reason for anyone to be sitting long. I had a similiar situation couple of months ago. Made a call. Didn't do much good. After hesitating for awhile, I finally made the next call up the totem pole. Ever since then things have been great. It may be a simple miscommunication or misunderstanding. But those mis's don't get the bills paid.

Haystak what MPG do you average with that big ol Classic XL? What are the specs on it and what speed do you usually run?

Back it up! Back it up! Back it up! DO NOT LOG 65 MPH OR OVER!!!! It's not just JCT rules, mainly DOT. It's sorta an unwritten rule.... nation wide. You know what you can or can't get away with. But that average speed will bite you in the ##### everytime. I'm not sure on the how many points to get fired. I don't have any.

Hmmmm..... I will take that bet and raise you 1 month of wages. You really have some nerve BigKid2! I guess the name fits you right. Some were sorry to hear that you got cut here at JCT. And some were glad that you found a company that "fits" your style (pun intended). But unlike some, I don't hold back, I speak my mind. I can usually back up what I say and from time to time get a bad virus of dontgivadamn. Yes, it's contagious. First off, I did a lil research of your newly found trucking company that you are proudly boasting about. Seems that some of your figures are off quite a bit. Not that any of us here at JCT are impressed... we just dontgivadamn. (there's that virus again) Secondly, we see your kind in this forum from time to time. In the beginning, they are always asking questions about JCT, wanting to join, etc. But they either get cut, fired or just don't have what it takes to be a successful O/O. Then they come back in the forum bashing JCT or talking crap about the company they once loved. Either way, you really need to grow up big kid. If you are looking for sympathy you are in the wrong forum. Me personally, I think you are waaaay out of line and owe a few people an apology. And I personally dontgivadamn (there's that virus again) that you didn't make it here at JCT nor about your new found job. But I will wish you luck in your journeys down the road. If you want to fly with the eagles you can't walk with the turkeys.

What info is incorrect that I put out about Risinger? None is the answer to that because all info I gave is correct. If we bet a month of wages would we be using mine or yours because mine would be a bigger number. I will make a bet with you too Haystak. I bet if we compare profit in the next 6 months that mine is higher. Wanna take that one?
