Neither do I really since I am always preplanned or have a load right when I am empty. I did sit for 2 days waiting for a paper load because the mill was down and I got 400 for it.

Ya know... I wished you the best when you made your post about getting hired on with the other company giving you the benefit of the doubt that your intentions was to share your pleasure and not to flame us... I WAS WRONG.

You insult me which is fine... I am a big girl... I can take it. When proven wrong... you offer no apology... again... NP... big girl... I can take it. But now your messin' with "the boys"... I use that term with the greatest respect and affection... and I don't take kindly to that at all.

Your intentions are as clear as glass and your issues go far beyond JCT, these hard working drivers and anyone else you might encounter.

Boys... I say take the high road with this, let it die. It is not worth your time and effort to argue with someone so clearly wanting to stir up trouble.

Well it varies. No truck gets the same mpg all the time. Depends on speed, hills, how heavy of a load, head wind, tail wind, filters, etc. Few months ago I was ranging from 3.7 - 5.2 After talking to some helpful fellow JCT'ers I made a few changes. I am now up in the 6's on average. But once again there are alot of variables. The specs on the C-15's are all the same I believe. As far as what speed I usually run... thats a good one lol Anywhere from 60 mph to toes in the radiator lol

I bet your lease payment isn't several hundred less than mine! Apparently you didn't stick around long enough to find out exactly how our maintenance works. $200 a day layover?? I got that beat just 2 weeks ago in Castroville and didn't even have to layover a full 24 hrs. Out of that 6k that you grossed in the last 4 weeks, how much did you bring home clear?

My hubby and I have been reading this thread for a long time now. We have been looking in the O/O thing and are very interested in doing it. JCT would look like a good place to start. The drivers in this thread makes ya almost feel like a part of the family. I look daily for new posts. My hubby was wondering about claims, he had noticed that JCT runs a lot of produce and was wondering how the claims works, does the driver pay it or is it covered under some insurance?

Let's see, he worked at Prime, and got fired for tampering with safety equipment. He then went to Marten, and was always on the old Prime Drivers board telling us just how rosy it was over at Marten. Now he is on here saying that Marten was the worst job he ever had, and that JCT screwed him over (couldn't have been something he did, it HAS to be the fault of someone else), and that this new job he has is the best he ever has had, and wants to bash anyone who isn't..... for lack of anything better to say, himself.

Now, I'll go back to the Prime side, and you can resume your regularly scheduled programming.
