Break even is 2500-2700 miles a week?? Wow! My check was for 2532 miles last week and I brought home 1196 dollars. Check before that I was home 5 days and did 1300 miles and brought home 498. Check before that I did 4100 miles and brought home 2385. I think you should back out of our bet now because there is no way in hell you can win.

    Dear Big Kid 2,

I mainly just read this board from time to time and I have been a driver at JCT for just under 1 year. I have made many mistakes along the way starting on day 1 where I followed to close to another vehicle. How did that happen? Well I had never drove a super 10. I was talked to buy Mr. Mallory and questioned about it and they gave me another shot to take the test. I took the time to ask many questions on how to properly operate the super 10 before my next attempt 3 days later. I aced it. I also had an extremely high blood sugar count. I was given a temporary card, 90 days I believe to see a doctor. I was an undiagnosed type 2 diabetic . I have a one year card now . they worked with me to get me back to Sapulpa to see the doctor which I delayed till the last minute .

My mother had to go into the hospital and I was very upset one day and took off without starting my log for the day and got put out of service by DOT. I am still on probation. Since the first time right after Thanksgiving when my mom almost died because a surgeon left a swab in her and it became infected, she has been back to the hospital 4 times for various, all pretty serious things. John Mallory was very stiff on me and I would fully expect to be fired if I failed another DOT inspection. I have to keep my head in the game no matter what.

I made a few mistakes on my logs and got put in Phase 1 for logs (which is 45 days of calling the log department every Monday to see about your logs) .Nothing intentional just stupid mistakes. Wrong month ( a long standing thing I do from time to time .... for example ... Last month I got stuck in Wyoming from snow and woke up the next day and logged 10-12 till 10-15-2010 when of course it was actually 5-12-10 to 5-15-2010 :biggrin_2556: ) . I also put too many miles on a day ... I drove for 4 hours and put 400 miles in the miles box and not because I drove 400 and wanted to show less driving or that I suddenly could go 100mph but I was tired. It was a late night P/U and I counted my miles 2x :biggrin_2556: . Finally there was a couple days of not signing the logs and that did it. So Whats the outcome ? I have had 5 straight months of Attaboys for perfect logs and I still call the log department twice a month and before the 20th when they run the reports to make sure everything looks good and I double and triple check myself early and often.

As for your Paychecks ..... NOBODY CARES !!!!!! We make money here and You can get help if you need it. I have had some roundabouts with the shop but so what . I mean everything is not perfect. never will be .You have to take the good with the bad in everything and the good greatly outweighs the bad.

So please I implore you to take your negativity elsewhere and let the people who interact with the truly curious drivers that have questions get back to the business of doing that and leave us alone.

    Thank You For your Consideration,

    TheDizz ....

And for anyone that can catch me, if you have any questions My truck is L1725b... I'll be happy to speak with you and answer any questions you may have.

and for my fellow drivers and Dabs the Co-Pilot keep on keeping on,stay safe and God Bless.

Alright now back to Zynga Poker on Facebook

I can back up everything with pay stubs so there is no bs coming from here. I believe Risinger's turn over ratio is way below JCT's!

BK2, don't you get it, We don't care. Your contributions to this JCT thread are childish and meaningless, you have been asked nicely to go away. I have heard of people not taking a hint but you take the biscuit.

(and the gravy, bacon, 6 pancakes, 4 eggs, grits, 5 sausages, hashbrowns, 3 sides of toast)

    Haystak Thanks this.

If you are so happy, then why keep coming here? Why don't you step off? Go start a Risinger thread. I had many interactions with Risinger when I was hauling glass, and they are NOT what you have claimed. I don't give a #### how much money you make there. I DO know you aren't making a dime at JCT, and it is YOUR fault.....no one else. Look in the mirror, and no further.

    Haystak Thanks this.

You know guys, he's succeeding in getting some of you all riled up and thats probably whats intended. May I suggest ya'll take Dab's advice, take the high road, and just ignore him. He'll eventually go away when nobody will rise to the bait. Just my 2 cents and hope ya'll don't mind.

Just started on the e-logs at my job, and so far I like em. I make really good money here, but its a tanker job, and a great deal of it is accesorial pay. We get paid for EVERYTHING!
I think they will come around to haunt some companies, and a great deal of it has to do with types of freight that you haul as well. Anything food related, forget about it. The e-logs will kill you because the companies don't care. I don't know what it is about them, but after hauling reefer and grocery freight for 3 years, if I see another lumper, it will be too soon.
