Ok, thanks. So if I got this right. Say you do 3000 miles at 1.33 a mile(Including FSC). Your gross is $3990. So you put back $319.20.

    $3990 Gross
    -$319.20 taxes
    -$583 Truck payment
    -95. APU
    -$136 Insurance
    -$12 qualcom
    -$210 Escrow Maint.(.07cpm)
    -$128 down payment
    -$25 performance bonus.
    -----------------------------------
    equals. $2,481.8 before fuel cost.

And fuel can range any from $1700 to $2000.

That leaves a net of $781 to $481...depending on actual fuel cost.

Ok, those numbers seem low. Did I miss something? Cause I'm not impressed.

I'm not sure but 1700 /2000 seems way off the mark unless ur getting 2 mpg or you have a major leak :biggrin_25511: anyway that's not the calculations I've factored; 3300/6.5 mpg=507.692 gals fsc .44x6.5mpg=2.86 discount $1.14 per gal=578.77 plus if you fuel at certain stops (loves,pilot...) you get a few cents more off of pump price. If that's wrong please correct me because fuel is what makes or breaks you just my opinion TY J.L.

your fuel figures are pretty far off the mark,,and as far as being "impressed" well if the numbers dont look good then this is probably not the best place for you,,,as a lease operation the key to bringing home 1k a week or above is fuel management,,if i have a slow week of around 2600-2800 miles then yes,,,after taxes,,,my paycheck will be about the 600 mark, however, you have to remember that even if you have a slow week,,,you are still paying off a truck,,then once the truck is paid off you will make that much more a week,,,now,,if you require a significant increase over our averages then you must be able (or willing) to pay cash for a truck or get a very good deal from a bank/loan institution..that is not an option for most of us "first time buyes" but if you want figures of someone without a truck payment at all follow alans post for a while,,he has recently paid his lease off and can probably give you a better profile off a paycheck with much lower "fixed" expenses..hope this helps.

here are my last weeks settlement figures:
    revenue..3631.40
    reimbursments...2037.17
    deductions.....4156.95

    net pay...1511.62

now take out your taxes (20% would be 303.33)

    net pay after taxes...1208.29

I know my math was somewhere. And I wasn't trying to be insulting. If I came across that way. I do apologize.

I know fuel cost is the biggest cost in your operation. My fuel calculation is pretty basic.

    3000 devided by 6.5 =461.5 gallons.

    461.5X$3.90=$1799.80.
Now what am I missing? Again not being insulting.
