Well, got Day 1 in. Now for the bad news, my class will be the first class to go all elogs, lucky me.....SIGHS..... Oh well, i guess it was comin' eventually anyway but i was sure hopin' to avoid them for a while. It's a very large class this week 22-25 people i think. No trucks in the bullpen yet we'll see what happens tomorrow. Everything went well today, even handled the old super 10 preaty good, lol. Will let yall know what happens with truck selection.
The Challenger and Jarhed1964 Thank this. -
Does anyone know what happened to L2290I or L, a blue Intl 9900I?? I was at the Pilot in Ocala (the one before the scale going S. Bound) and saw it being towed into there with the trailer being towed by a T800 KW with a small coffin box sleeper. Hope everythings okay with that team or driver.
KHBigR Thanks this. -
What happen? I am going to JCT on Oct. 23. Kinda would like to know. -
LMB, i have a ton of respect for you for this great thread you started here as well as all the helpfull info you have given everyone, however i gotta' call em' like i see em'. You gotta' admit that post was not much different than some others from negitive posters that we've all bashed on here for not telling the whole story. I'm not saying your wrong, as this is only my first day here, but if your gonna' post something like that please explain why they are now " like the rest ". I feel it's only right being as everyone who has posted negitive things about JCT here has been asked to explain both sides of the story. Thank you sir, and no hard feelings, i respect your opinion.Panhandle flash Thanks this.

It is a long story, and as soon as I get it to where I can write it here I will. It should not affect anyone in going forward with thier plans to work for this company. You will all make money working for JCT if you keep the wheels running, but don't everyone expect you will own a truckPanhandle flash, BigKid2, BigR and 1 other person Thank this.

Thanks LMB, i'll be looking forward to hearing about this. Especaily since i got an old truck with only a two year note. The only upside to it is the fact that i could have it paid off soon.Last edited: Oct 3, 2011

So what did you get???

Well, day#2 is in the books. Had truck selection this afternoon, and it was just as weird as i'd heard, lol. I'm still a little pissed about how they give teams first preference in truck selection. I found out as we were lined up in front of the concrete barriers that the truck i wanted was no longer available ( we found out later it was because one of the two teams in our class selected it ) and as it turned out i would have been the first one to get to it. Then to rub more salt in the wound that team decided later they did'nt want the truck because the wife could'nt see over the hood. Ok, i'm done with my rant about that. I'll post again about the truck i did get as my rant made this one a little too long, lol.

I got a 07 International Eagle 9900i. It was the oldest/ cheapest truck available ( which is something i was wanting ), the main thing is it's only a two year note
The downside is it has over 800k miles on it
But it's got a good ol' cat w/ 13 spd in it, so im hopin' she'll at least hold out till she's close to being paid off and the maintance fund is built up.
