If you listen to bigkid2 and LMB there recruiters for other companies, When I had a lease truck I averaged $1200.00 wk. after everything, running about 3200 miles aweek, If your looking to take home $11000. a month, probly not going to happen, this cant be any more reality than I can put it

Not sure what medicare fuel cost is, but it is after all cost of the truck, but my annual house hold bill is around $34,000 a year, leaving about $28,000, for anything else I might need, hope this helped

Thanks thats what I was looking for.
Not much more than what a company driver would make with all the headaches of running a business. Now if you don't mind. What was home time for you and any other benefits of being L/P over company driver. And the information you have shared with me. Was it all done at JCT and do you feel that going to ELogs would hinder your earnings. I ask only because I feel I am ready to make a go of it.
    Thanks
Btw medicare is the 2nd of the FICA split
You are responsible for the full % of both company drivers the employer pays half. And I know you know what fuel cost is. I just missed putting in the ,

First off I am not a recruiter I am a driver and LMB is not a recruiter he is the one that started this thread a couple years ago when he and his wife ran team at JCT.

You said you were making $1200 a week running 3200 miles a week which is .375 per mile which is not very good. Hell where I am I average $1306 a week only averaging 2303 miles a week for an average of .567 per mile.

Will you just go away and stop your bragging! It seems like you're the only one able to pull those numbers there, either you're lying or the rest of the drivers there are stupid!

Mine are low compared to some of the drivers. A friend of mine just took home about $7700 in a 3 week period and only did 8900 miles in that time. He has only been here 2 months. I wish I was pulling down his numbers and he is through the house almost every weekend.
