Well, you see, the reason the grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence is because you are looking down and at an angle, you see more grass and it appears layered so you see more green as opposed to looking straight down under your feet where you see more of the soil under neath the grass.............. :biggrin_25524: ummm, but that's not what was being discussed was it? :biggrin_255:

LMB, I wouldn't worry much ......everyone’s experience is different. Sounds to me like you researched, made an educated decision and made the move. All you can do is step out and give it a try anymore, hope all works out! For the type of set up they are, I've heard they are one of the lesser of evils.

Alright yall, i just went through my settlements. Im gonna' post my numbers while at JCT hopefully this will better inform anyone interested in JCT, please note im not bashing just giving real life numbers. Ill keep it simple, just miles and total net after deductions. If i had any personal advances ill note that. 0miles= -$131.95 This is the first check after orientation ( you start out in the negitive after buying enforcer lock, thermometers, physical, ext. this amount gets deducted from the next weeks check)./ 3,181 miles= $1,380.16 ( after negitive was deducted)/ 1,663 miles= $770.54 / 3,836 miles= $2,047.88 ( no payments were taken out of these first 3 checks everything below will have payments included)./ 2,267 miles= $461.40 / 5,670 miles= $1,849.24 / 2,212 miles= $1,056.32 ( $100 taken out for drivers legal to fight a ticket). / 799 miles= $-493.96 ( this was the week i came home, had 4 days in before i came home, they did'nt run my well that week). / 885 miles= $-934.30 ( came back out after 5 days off, got 1 load picked up Sun. did'nt deliver till Tues., then sat a day waitin on dispatch). / 4,044 miles= $437.80 ( after negitite balance was deducted ) / 4,519miles= $1,220.42 ( Took a $50 personal advance ). / 2717 miles= $745.02 ( Took a $100 personal advance, also had $112.95 taken out of this check for a repair, JCT will not pay repairs out of your maintaince account unless there over $150 ) I will have 1 more settlement coming tomarrow but im expecting that one to be negitive after fuel, i think that one was a little less than 2k miles for a full week. So maybe that'll shed some light on why i quit. The miles are inconsistant ( and getting worse with the elogs coming ). And i just could'nt afford to take hometime if it was gonna' take almost a month to recover. Keep in mind my payment was $513.79, i dont know how the guys with the 1k/ per week Cascadia payments could ever see home. I hope this helps, just because it did'nt work for me does'nt mean it could'nt for someone else ( although it's not gonna' get any eaiser/better ). Do your homework and be informed people. Good luck and Happy New Year.
