nevermind wrong person

 

yes there are some really special people out here. I wish I could find time to go back to school for something useful and respected. I love what I do, but we are now inhabited with bottom feeders and the trailer park scum. These are the same people that poop on the ground and trash the truckstops. This really is starting to suck it.

 

Just for some insight I have been with JCT for almost 3 yrs now and making money isnt that hard. My fixed cost per week is $742.00. That doesnt account for maintenance escrow. Right now I have mine set at .07. If I average 3200 miles a week my take home will be around $1264.00. That is based on me getting 6mpg. The better my mpg the better my pay. That $1264 figure is 3200 x 1.33(.90 base rate + .43 fuel surcharge) then substrate fuel cost which would be 2027.00 at $3.80 per gallon at 6 mpg, then substract fixed cost of 742, and last substract maint escrow of 224.00 (3200 miles at .07 per mile) now your take home is 1264.00. Taxes are paid quarterly by you when you wish and the amount you wish. I stopped paying my quarterly taxes and due to a good tax rep last year I got back 631.00 without ever paying a penny in. I'm married with one child, wife didn't work, and we deducted our home mortgage interest, thus I owed no tax. Plus remember all your fuel, truck payments, expenses, etc are tax deductible.

Well, been here since Thanksgiving and not dead yet...driving a '12 Cascadia with a Tripac and haven't starved...been to the yard plenty and no DOT goons or black buses...been tough because of the time of year but just business as usual. My guess is anyone who puts any stock in outrageous trucker stories doesn't belong here anyway. I'll probably retire from here; I'm happy as a clam. A six foot, three inch, two hundred ninety five pound clam. I just wish I could bring Luke the Wonder Dog with me but the pet deposit is insane. --Foo.

i notice they pay a .02 bonus. is this payed monthly or qtr. is it on all miles or loaded?

 

Its safety bonus, if you have no citations or warnings reach quarter you get the two cents on the last week of the fourth month
