I am amazed JCT (or any company for that matter) would expect drivers to pick up and deliver four stops for free.

I know most carriers expect drivers to make the first pick up and the final delivery for free but the above is egregious.

FYI drivers, there are carriers (LTL) that pay drivers for EVERY stop, every drop, every hook, and every set of pups they have to set up or break down.

Why would you aspiring business owners accept such a bad deal?

We accept it because in the 6 years I've been here, I've never had more than three picks and that's even rare.

@raider you'd have to ask recruiting for more info or if you're on Facebook, go to jct drivers united. One of the posts has that info

If its so rare you would think they would pay you, I know ACT pays, Sounds like another company making money for your time and work and you get nothing:biggrin_25513:

    Alan,
First, you may want to accept it as an OTR driver if it happens so little, but... you've got to understand, I will be local and regional. That will require A LOT more picks and drops, and I will NOT do them for free!

Also, from what you told richieryan (who didn't trust me I guess :biggrin_25523: ), if they aren't hiring lease drivers for the OK fleet, why was I just approved? April & Jennifer both told me that the TX fleet is pretty much covered, but they need OK drivers. So, I dunno?

Richie, if you wanna chat about what I know about the OK fleet, email me... docworrad@yahoo.com

Yes doc I agree it'd be nice to be compensated for more things. If you are on the ok regional, you'll most likely be picking the one pickup loads. The only loads we have with multiple picks are produce loads out of Cali and Yuma
