How are the team trucks doing at JCT? Is this a forced trainer position if you don't have a partner, or do you get to keep a guy who wants to run hard.

    Thanks

We don't have trainers. If you want to be team they can find you a partner. The new cascadias are capable of that mileage

Gunny, it's a 2012 Kenworth T660 with a Paccar MX. Alan is right. The new Cascadias are capable of that too. It takes a very light foot, and careful trip planning to be able to keep the speed way down, like 55 most of the time. Semper Fi.

Seems like software issues are the only thing so far. I have been in it a month, and it only has 138,000 miles on it, so it's a bit early to tell. I like the way a DD15 pulls better than this one.

I didn't even know we had '12 660's. I would grab one of them in a heartbeat. I average between 6.5 and 7.0 running between 64-68mph in my '12 Cascadia. I could get better, but if I'm not doing 650+ miles/day, I get the shakes. I also need to get my apu. That will really help out. The DD15 does pull really well though.

I hear ya. But I don't count miles. I count money. I'm not out here to run miles, but to make money. I have run both ways, and fewer, more efficient miles puts more to my bottom line than big miles do.

    I don't think JCT has T660's. I don't drive for them though.

I have to agree. Work smarter, not harder. I make a comfortable living and profit after only 2300 miles per week. Everything else is mad money.
