At least you have hot water, and not the sting of cold water. And that has to take a bit of the sting out of no paycheck. :biggrin_2559:

If all goes according to our (very conservative) plan, this time next year we won't have these kinds of issues. It's just that right now, I'm getting slammed w/ equipment failures as everything is at the end of its life cycle. Between the kid's ankles and JCW's short 2.5 months of being unemployed, we burned our savings. (Broken ankle = $2.5k after all was said and done, then the 2 sprained at the same time was around $1k or so, self-pay, no insurance). I don't regret spending $600 on the MRI, but it sure put the hurt on the bank book.

Being in the crapper is temporary. It just stinks while I'm down here.:biggrin_25523:

thanks for the info DragonTamerBrat, hope that was a bit down on miles and hopwe JCW keeps picking 'em up.I was told the planners make most thier $ based on driver miles which makes sense, and is why you have to "earn" there trust.

It was. Turkey Day hometime kind of messed everything up. We have decided he can pull the rig into the house empty, no problem. However, he can't do a driveby loaded and park here for his 10 if we've had much in the way of weather. The driveway just isn't set up for 80k of rig.

guess i got lucky today, appt for apu install wasnt until 1700 today. but they called me this am, they are working on it now. might be out of here tonight. doesnt look like they currently have any deer guards in stock, so that may end up being a later trip.

well i did get a pleasant surprise. went to check on progress of apu installation. and i did get a deer guard. so either they do have them in stock, or got some in this am. 2 birds 1 stone.
