    An honest to goodness message from JCW:"Well finally selected a truck. '12 cascadia midsized, slightly larger than the pup. But have to go to lewiston, maine to get it. Was abandonded. Theyare trying to find me a ride up there. Go pick it up and bring back here so the shop can go over it. Decided to not go with the international due to poor fuel mileage history."

    Selection isn't final until he does his inspection AFTER he gets it back to Pittston and the mechanics go thru it.

    Reminds me of an airplane I picked up in Ft. Lauderdale long ago. I took it to a mechanic to look at before flying it to Bermuda to sign the lease (there are laws and such) and guess what the guy found when he unbuttoned one of the inspection panels?

    Well, let's just say the DEA was there in a flash. Oh, THAT would have been fun to discover in Bermuda, a place that does NOT like American cargo airplanes with drugs in them. Or the pilots that fly them. I would still be there...

    Yep. They sent him to Pittston for upgrade because that is where the trucks are at the moment.
