Has anyone heard of this company:

    Jicargo Corp
    241 Arlington Street #915
    Acton, Massachusetts 01720

He wants $20 plus 2% of the price of a load agreed upon between the carrier and the shipper. But he claims not to be a broker. He is asking for credit card or bank card info and wants payment when the arrangements are made from the carrier.

There is no real info or reviews on Google. He will not send a demo or redacted load list.

It looks to me to be some one trying not to be a broker.

Also the address shows on Google Map to be a Post Office.

    THIS SMELLS PHISHY.

Yeah, I wouldn't trust that. Don't go giving out your bank info to people you don't know.

Per their website, they're trying to do something like be a middleman between carrier/shipper without a middleman.

Which is funny, because that exactly makes them a middleman. If they want $20 + 2%, they're getting paid to effectively broker without doing any work. It's one of those really amusing things to me- on a $3000 load, he gets paid $80 bucks for facilitating a direct-to-shipper board.

The disadvantage here for you is that if the shipper renegs or fails to pay, or whatever, you're up the creek without any support from these guys.
