I have about 20 years experience. If I left my company Jim Palmer is where I would go.

Hey guys. So I've been talking to a JP recruiter (whose name I will omit) and this afternoon is my first phone interview. I'm really nervous and anxious because the two times I've talked to the recruiter it seems like they can't wait to get off the phone with me and there is absolutely no enthusiasm or spark of any kind in their voice. The first time I talked to them was because on my application I had "omitted" the criminal background info. Problem is, there was never a page on the online application that asked for it, nor was there a spot for it at the end when it asked me to review my application. Yes, I have a background although nothing more recent than 8 years and all misdemeanors. (I've done a LOT of growing up) but I'm worried they're seeing that as me trying to hide my background.
    Does anyone have any input?

Usually a phone interview is to just verify things on your app.
    Usually not a big deal.

Thanks Jim. I'm just anxious because I've been wanting to get in to trucking for about 6 or 7 years and now that my personal life has finally allowed me the opportunity, I don't want to screw it up given how picky they are with their students. And especially since they're a perfect fit for me.

I am very interested in wil-tran/ Jim palmer trucking. I live in s recreational marijuana state.i can easily pass a drug test given a couple weeks to flush. What kind of drug test does jp use? Urine or hair?

Longshott, you just opened Pandora's Box. Get ready to have your ### chewed out by a lot of drivers. Lol.

I just saw that because that's on another thread I started a week or so ago. I warned Longshott he just opened Pandora's Box and he's about to get his ### chewed out by a lot of drivers. I can't answer that question yet because I never asked it, nor will I. It's not something I'm worried about but why draw any undue attention to myself when they're already VERY picky about their drivers. If I'm lucky enough to be one of JP's "chosen", I'll be more then happy to let him know once I find out.
