Yep, I dealt with Alex Conley as well. Very pleasant and informative
-
yea she is, i was surprised to hear that Jim Palmer couldn't assist me with CDL training.
-
Did you check Wil Trans?
-
yea I did I think Alex from Jim Palmer was also the rep for Wil Trans,
-
oh maybe. Very possible they shut down training a while. Check out Schneiders Tanker program. Pretty sure they hire new CDL holders
-
thanks

akfisher, I may have asked you this before but did you yourself also look into Wil-Trans as well? I know that you are Jim Palmer bound, but maybe the above should look Wil-Trans if Jim Palmer is not running their training program right now for one reason or another. I hear that Wil-Trans is just as reputable as Jim Palmer is, it is just a question of which parts of the country does one want to run I suppose. More east coast and mid-west with Wil-Trans, whereas more all over 48, and west with Jim.

I have spoke to the recruiter at Wil Trans which is also the same for Jim Palmer, and was told the same thing. Looking at Prime, do you have any thoughts on Prime
-
Prime is where I am looking at, besides Wil-Trans, as it's a reputable company and good place to start out at anyways. Some mixed reviews, but there's bad apples in every bunch. Pay them little attention. Overall, looks like a good place to drive. Have a training facility getting bigger and expanding in Salt Lake City, UT. Also in Springfield, MO and Pittston, PA. I'd be going in with my CDL A in a short time period hopefully, so I cannot speak to newbie pay, benefits or training. But it's on my shirt list. Check them out.
