JJ is on his way back from Commiefornia, dropping his load at Shopko DC and heading to the yard to pick up a pre-loaded trailer to be back in Cali Monday morning. Gotta love the drop and Hooks

 

Sure hope I never cut a delievery this close again!!!! Appt time 1615, time at the window, 1615. Usually like to be an hr early. Whew. This fat boy hopes to never have to waddle that fast again!!!! lol

Well, my dispatcher managed to somewhat salvage my week.
Every load that northeastern regional sent me had ALLOT of sitting time on both ends and just did not work well with hours of service. I was a good boy and did not complain. But when my dispatcher saw them he would cancel the preplan and send me a new one that was ready to roll.
So he probably got me close to another 800 miles for the week that I would not have seen.
I am in Southern Delaware right now. I will get this off in the morning. Was supposed to be a live unload, but I see 2 emptys here. So will probably drop. Then I am deadheading to Columbus to pick up a petsmart for 2 stops in VA early on Monday. So I will have a good number of miles this weekend, but will run out of hours on Monday shortly after my 2 stops and have to start waiting for hours to come back.
I guess he really does not want me to change company's. He is being very active all of a sudden trying to get me miles, and once out of the NE region he should be able to keep me rolling steady.

 

I've been to the Petsmart in Columbus before. Nice, big, mty parking lot to spend the night in. Have kept it in the back of my mind, JIC.
Am sitting in the middle of BFE at the moment. A little rest area in WY at mm 401. Man, do I love Verizon. Its fast enough here to watch a tv show. Faster than the wally world in Cheyenne.
Miles have picked up again and tho there not long runs, there consistant. Can live with that.

JJ is so far getting good miles with MW he is on his way back to Cali with a Potato Parade load...Apparently MW have 10 loads a day going to Walnut CA, so he should be back Tuesday night or Wednesday in the AM and the Babies and I will be on the truck next Monday yay at last!!!

 

This is the Petsmart DC, not a store.
There is room for about 5 trucks on the street outside of it, which is helpful since it is less than a block from Kraft in groveport.

I ran my hours after I picked this thing up. I will run out of my 70 on Monday at my final stop, if I have no issues. Since I know that I will not have any issues, I can deliver.
Then I found a truck stop with my GPS that is 0.7 miles from the final.
So I will be at that location most of the day Monday until Midnight at least.
But I got good miles finally. Of course they are on 2 weeks, so I will have to give it a few weeks to see how the checks go.
I am driving every available hour though. That is a full 70 in within 7 days.
