I am supposed to be headed home. Since I did not make it home last weekend.
So they got me my normal Buffalo load. But instead of my normal load out of Erie for Monday morning they sent me to Purina in Dunkirk. I had a 1200 appt here for a live load.
Well, got here early and they put me right in a door.
So I thought great this should be quick.
Then they have been loading every truck that has gotten here since I got here. And so far they have not even started to load me.
So I will have to call my wife again and tell her that even though I told her earlier that I would be home before 1400. I now will be home some time after that.
And that she and I skipped eating earlier for no reason.
Or she will just be hungry as heck and pissed when I finally get home.
Delivering in Columbus Monday whenever I get there. I think I may be getting e-logs Tuesday.

 

Ran into 2 of my company drivers today at a fuel stop. Both came to me with problems. One's DPF lite was on and flashing and all he could do was 55mph. Had no idea what was going on or what to do about it. Other one needed mudflaps on his tlr and didn't know what to do either. Daamn, but I wish our trainers would actually train!!!!!

We have been busy for ages small company and not fighting 2000 other drivers for loads, and helps that we cart French Fries to Mickey D's lol.

Good to hear the Flat-bedding is picking up, I was wondering the other day when we tried to get a park at the Ontario TA and it was full a lot of empty flatbeds.

Now you broke the ice cmon back and you can give your flatbed news we need a flatbed person on here. PLEASE

The mighty Pete broke down today Alternator went and we had to sit and wait for the shop guys to come and fix it, also needs two new steer tires they look like Swiss cheese well maybe not Swiss cheese lol.

Heading out tomorrow night to Tracy CA

But I think that is one of the 'cool' things - everyone gets along so well here plus the information and such scattered thoughout the thread is good for an interested newbie - LOL! I'm just starting out in this 'adventure' - so I'm trying to pick up those scattered bits.
