Well, guess a neighbor complained. Had a notice on the trk that I was in violation and needed to move the trk. Least they didn't give me a ticket.

We could never leave the Semi in the driveway when we lived in the subdivision, they used to leave us warnings on the front door:biggrin_25516:

Straight back driving was interesting. 3 hours of it was kinda boring, but thats what swift requires so, I learn to backup, YAAAAAAA. Tomorrow is more pre-trip training and BACKING UP, YAHHHHOOOOOOoooooo...... Can you see the joy :biggrin_25513:

Gotta tell ya AIN, when I was going to my tech school for my license, I got so tired of backing I thought I would puke. Got out here and found out it still wasn't enough!!! In school, you have marks you learnt to set up on. Out here, you gotta figure your own out. Just sayin.

backing is a very important part of the job.

95 % of your entire career driving time will be spent BACKING. :biggrin_25519:
70% of that backing time will be spent doing 10 point maneuvers around trailers and walls and such.
$5,000 is what it takes to teach you how to back.

5% of the time you actually move forward. that part of the tuition is free since you shoulda learned to move forward when you first got your license. LOL

At a rest area in WA since I refuse to spend any money here :biggrin_25511:heading back to Portland later to pick up next load going to Boise ID and then back to Commiefornia with more French Fries so even with JJ having two days of the miles won't be bad.
