Yep, that's what I'm drivin Freightshaker with a Detroit. So far so good (knock on wood). Only problem has been an airbag. Have 475+ on it so should keep for another 6 months or so...I am not looking forward to the Prostar that will probably follow.

we got back out on thje road rather quickly with the second turbo, just had to ride their butts to get things done. Even with a not fully functioning motor and turbo, we still stomp the freighhtshakers

Besides it wasn't peties fault it was the useless mechanics who collect a paycheck at mw, obvioulsly something wrong with the block which they didn't even look at just replaced the head which by the way came from a second hand motor!

Sitting at lovely lone pine Ca don't deliver until tomorrow afternoon in Walnut CA then over to City of Industry picking up a load going to Sumner WA, so miles should be ok this pay after having 5 days off!

 

Jess, Where you going to shut down tomorrow? Sounds like we will end up being nearly in the same place at the same time

 

after we pick up in city of Industry we will probably make Button Willow and shut down there.

 

Spent last night in internet hades, or is that wifi, or just a crappy area for my aircard? Whatever, couldn't get on line last night. Did get my new tv to sat ant. cable put on. Amazing how much easier it is to hit a satellite when you have a cable that ain't broke!!!! Course, ther wasn't nuttin much to watch on tv either.

Am in PA and on my way to Boston. Aint even there yet but can say that it will suc cause, well...... Boston sux!!!!

 

yes sir we go to norfolk got a terminal there also i run southeast regional but we have been doing quite a few loads to New Jersey lately. we will run crosscountry at times if a container doesn'i make the ship then we will run to portland or L.A. amd put it on a boat there. but that is not a common occurance.

 

I had a 3 stop in the NYC area early this week.
It really sucked.
One stop in Long Island and one stop in the Bronx third stop in a small town in NJ. Was a retail load.
I did not want to even take the load, but had no choice. Dispatch got me an extra 50 bucks for going.
