On our way to Washington state for a three drop ld yay extra money!!! Few more three droppers and we will have enough saved for our own truck no more company BS, latest now is if your truck is between the #272 -301 you fill at the peelot in Winemucca nv and if its over 301 you fill at Mill City ta NV all the same price:biggrin_25526: Got a company news letter on the Monday saying that if Fuel milage didn't improve the trucks would be turned back to 62 hmmmmm then Monday afternoon all trucks at the yard were turned back gee they gave 4hrs to improve it:biggrin_25511: Guess all companies are the same just screw ya in a different way, but they still beat Central and Cargo by a longgggggggggg way lol.

Having a hard time getting used to the APU in this trk. This one actually turns on and off as the batteries need charging.

62 mph and they pay you how much per mile? You can basically count that as a pay cut. I'm happy to say that not all trucking companies are the same. I've been driving for 34 years and the previous 2 companies I worked for didn't govern their trucks at all. Back then, I was making .34 cpm with company #1 in my last 3 years and .35 - .37 cpm in my 4 years at company #2. My current company pays me .41 cpm loaded, .32 M/t. and yes, my truck is governed at 71 mph.
If you're making anything under .40 cpm and they cut you back to 62 mph, you're working for minimum wage and I don't care how many miles they run you.
If you're truck was previously governed at 65 mph., you lose 33 miles per day. If you drive just 5 days a week, then times that 33 by 5 and you lose 165 miles per week. Let's say you're getting payed .34 cpm. Times that by the 165 miles you just lost and that's $56.10 less in your pay check. Are you still lol?
Take the time and effort to look, there are good trucking companies out there or you can keep lol, while that trucking company that you are currently working for laughs all the way to the bank with your hard earned money that they just stole from you.

Truck used to do 68 since we run western states not a problem Cali, Oregon Washington, Utah Nev and Idaho, but 62 just sucks and it hasn't improved the fuel milage one bit!!!:biggrin_2552: trucks are 379 Petes, not designed to be nutted as far as the company have nutted them oh well another 6 months and we will have the money for our own truck, no govener and no stupid QC.

The reason we chose the company is because we have Dogs and they have a pet Policy (free) miles were good and seemed like a good smaller size company!

They would suit someone who wants to be home one or two days a week!

I was almost stuck in Wildflicken aka frozen chicken.
But I ran into a guy at division that I had met while at Knox. He told me that I really did not want to go there, and if I ended up in Mianz to come and talk to him. They needed scouts at both locations. And he knew I would be happier at Lee Barracks.
