It was better before TA bought it. They lost some of their longest term wait staff. They all said that the tips went in the crapper after it was bought.
Plus parking was always easy to get there, then once it became a TA it was always full.
Now they have put a new building in the lot and taken allot of the space.
Was once my favorite stop. Now it is still good, but not what it use to be.

Do like the new shop tho. Also undestand that they put new pumps in. No more sliding the hose, under your trk, to fill the other side.

where 57 and 70 meet. just north of it. it's on the right as you head north. southwest corner of effingham. and made of concrete i think. -
Actually the one I was thinking of is on I-75 south of Toledo OH. It changes color every couple of seconds. Kind of neat.

What a good evening this has been, cept this old man is pretty worn out. The great nephew or nephew once removed or however them geneology things go, is spending the night here. He's decided that I'm the one to play with. So far, he's shot me with a tommy gun, bow's and arrows, showed me how he hunts, and crawled up in my lap pretending to be a puppy. May have to get back on the road, just to rest up.

It is pretty sad.
I am home for the weekend and all I can think about is heading out early.
I have a load to deliver to Joliet IL, that is a live unload at 2200 on Monday.
I am not allowed to take any tolls till I get to IL. So it is around 540 miles. So if I leave home Monday and head that way I will not have any time when I get empty. And I highly doubt I can park at the receiver.
So I keep thinking about running to Toledo or so today. So that I will have some usable hours when I get out of the receiver to get somewhere to park.
But even then I will probably not have a load till Tuesday AM. So allot of sitting if I leave early.
I just don't know. I keep going back and forth.
I also do not want to get all the way there tonight. Or I know I will be stuck running nights all week.
Next weekend I will be staying in Columbus at the terminal. Or at least my truck will be. My wife is meeting me down there and we have a hotel room for the weekend and tickets to the Sabres final regular season game on Sat. in Columbus. Then maybe the zoo if it is nice on Sunday with my brother inlaw and his family. -
i know what your going thru i got a 504 mile run to columbus, ms that picks up in the am gotta run it today a do a 10 over there so i can come back tomorrow and get a good load for tues. will be good though starting the week with 1000 miles and still have 4 days to run.
