That is so true, but watching an 18 wheeler doing 80 in Southern Utah almost push a 4 wheeler doing 65 mph off the road made me think that its not the speed thats the issue but the dumb ### behind the wheel. -
you talking about the semi doing the posted speed limit or the idiot driving too slow.
maybe they were both T E X T I N G.
you will learn not be so nice to the cars IN TIME. becuase the cars have absolutely NO RESPECT for semis. they do stupid crap ALL THE TIME. and you will be slapping yourself in the face saying WHAT AN IDIOT. and the stupidity will never cease to amaze you. and just when you think you've seen it all. SURPRISE. -
I will concede that, in a perfect world, everyone would be safer traveling at the same speed. Then nobody could ever get rearended. However, this is not a perfect world.
If a truck traveling 60 MPH, in a 65 MPH zone creates a significant road hazard, someone has far larger problems than can be fixed through advice on a forum.
If that driver cannot react safely to a vehicle that is traveling 5, 10 or even 15 MPH below the speed limit, how will he react to an accident, broken down vehicle or even road debris?
I would love to find that perfect world. While we look for it I will continue to prepare for the "unexpected". -
while you're out there preparing for the unexpected. can you figure out the meaning of life for me please.

If you spend a lot of time reading this forum, it means that in your lifetime you will
#1 Be Born
#2 Never be rich
#3 maybe be either a hard worker or a slacker
#4 croak and 2 to 3 weeks later, most will not remember your namePanhandle flash Thanks this. -
Here in lies the problem, every CDL toteing yahoo out here believes themselves " QUALIFIED",flip one dirty side up and it makes
for redundant chat in the pro driver section next to the buffet.
Doesnt teach the driver a thing, some even do it 1-2 times again
with all the luck they walk away.
The majority usually take out their co-driver and or some innocent
man,woman,child,family . . . . . . .
-
