    i was thinking more along the lines of R E T I R E M E N T.

unfortunately that's still 22 years and one week away.

i missed HT last week. they tried to cancell my onion load for a load home. but the broker cried,

be interesting to see what happens this week. i should be in millford, ut getting loaded for phoenix. instead i'm still waiting to get loaded in montana for cedar city, ut.

i'm supposed to take my boy out for his bday this week. since i was planning on elko jamboree next weekend. hoping millford to phoenix gets cancelled. i really don't feel like spending the weekend in phoenix heat waiting for monday delivery.

dispatcher just asked if i was loaded and headed to phoenix. when she just called 2 hours ago to find out how much longer before i'm headed to cedar city. we only have 11 trucks and i guess no computer of who is doing what and going where.

so, after spending all night and day waiting to get loaded. and finally finished up at 5 last night. some kind of work detail popped up for the guy that loaded me. without going into details. let's just say i had to wait 2 hours to get my BOL. because notes had to be prepped for the firing of that guy. guess he has a bad attitude towards work.

hauled ### to cedar city. just so i can camp out again. second load in a row that isn't ready to ship. i get to wait till morning to pick up before going home. another weekend with no bike ride. and i have a feeling since this crap happens every week. i'm going to be late for my elko jamboree. and the gang will leave me behind.

I'M POUTTING NOW AND THROWING FITS.

i'm starting to think it's company policy that no more then a 34 reset will be granted on home time. they want us mt in morning and loaded asap for next morning, but not on friday. it's camp time till possibly saturday morning for next week's load.

saw a leased england truck this morning. dude had nice butt one peace fenders covering the drives. fancy flames and all. someone must be making money. and i didn't think the trucks could be tampered with.

how'd yall make out in the blitz?

Got lucky and missed everything myself and dang glad of it. Tlr I had coming back to OKC for HT would have cost me some points. Had a lite out on it and on my trk but company policy is.... must have 3 lites out before replacing. For some reason, they have it in their heads that it is NOT a DOT violation with just 1 or 2 out.

Why 1bad? Were the DOT hot and heavy on the backroads that people use to get around the scales?
I would not want to run that. I have done it a few times. But not for me. I am too old for that crap.

Well that was interesting. Brother has an above ground pool, that had been drained due to a hole in it. Had a small storm come thru last night, and tho I never heard any wind or rain, we had both. Pool had been caught on one side and flipped up on its side and leaning against the fence. Wonder how many more holes might be in it now? As for the rain I didn't hear, pick up is now clean and it sure wasn't yesterday.
