Maybe a malpractice suit for not properly executing his sworn assigned duties? Is anyone held accountable any more?
-
someone posted this in another thread.
the code is actually 393.11
http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/rules-regulations/administration/fmcsr/fmcsrruletext.aspx?reg=393.11
look at table 1. drawings.
the thing also says amber. but the cop said white.
how many of you actually have reflective tape on your tractor.
wonder how many got written up during that 3 day blitz. if any got written up. for refelctive tape. -
no tape on my truck
-
Going to a 50 truck outfit based in Omaha. Not going to mention any names at this time. Don't want to do anything to jinx me.

Didn't think that getting home would be such a pain. Enterprise wants $40 a day plus a $75 drop fee if I drop it at the airport. $225 if at another Enterprise. Sounds like a completely screwy deal to me!!!! Uhaul is going to cost me $105 and can drop anywhere in OKC. Guess its a price I'm willing to pay tho to get home!!!!! -
can you find me a round trip air fare from lubbock to salt lake city.
all my biker friends are in evanston wyoming for the annual brewfest drowning in beer. i'm in lubbock drowning in #### heat. waiting for a new radiator
guessn jess and jj are letting big shots go to there head now they got there new gig and no longer participating in there own thread. LOL -
You will not loose your license over csa points. They are not attached to your license like a speeding tickets points are. They are just safety points.
At this point drivers do not actually have a score with the fmcsa. But that may change in the next few years. Congress is asking for us to be rated.
The "scores" now are just the company's looking at our violations, adding the points per violation. And then deciding if you are ok or not. They do not have access to FMCSA's actual formula. So they are just a guess.
Too many violations will make it hard to find a job though. -
99 percent of the OTR trucks don't have reflective tape. but the code is most defenitly there.
only it's 393.11
NOT 393.13 -
man. when i get back into town. i'm defenitly going to see about hooking up a motorcycle trailer to the flatbed. so i have some #### transportation when i'm broke down.
-
My fleet has them on all trucks.
Also make sure you have tape on the back of the trailer doors, if hauling a box. It has to go all the way across the bottom. And up around the top corners.
On the tractor it is the same.
Tape on the flap hangers (if you have them), Up in the corners of the sleeper. Etc.
