last i heard there was a load for virginia. or still possibly a sign going to miami

 

I am in Carlisle. Headed to VA tomorrow.
Have to drop a load south of Richmond, then grab another to bring to the terminal there to drop.
Then I have to turn in my truck, it is up for sale. Have to get a new one.

nothing going to miami as of recdent.

i'm doing a 2500 mile bobtail and 2500 mile deadhead.
going to boston to bring back a tanker trailer.

 

Good miles lol and you can cook on crisco running empty!

 

i'll tell you what. this is a hard adjustment being without the trailer OR a load, and the truck bouncing all over the road SUCKS.


the truck has a proportioning brake system. without the trailer the brakes require extrta power and still don't stop. there's a tag on the dash and it isn't lieing about extra pressure may be required.

had a blowout in wamsutter. that cost me 3 hours. they said 1 hour. i walk in and said it's 2 hours now.

on another note.
no more per diem cash advance. people using and need another advance and then complaining no pay checks.
our pay is also changing from percentage to .35 cents.

and the truck channel talking about this mexican trucker thing. guess obama lied about adding jobs. he taketh away instead.

 

When has he told the truth....lets hope the Tards don't vote him in again.

JJ is back in Cali, three dropper im home still, Truck is at the shop having the ac diagnosed lets hope its a cheap fix.

 

What an intersting drive that was. Am in New Glarus, WI and that SR 39 is a doozy. Kind of curious to see what it looks like in the day time and kind of hope I go back out the same way. Delievered combo loads of pork to the "Jack Links" beef jerky place. Another guy here is delievering turkey. Guess beef aint all they do, eh. lol

 

Got routed round about all the way to Richmond VA, just to get a new truck.
Then I was not on their list when I got there. So they got me added for this afternoon, but my fleet manager and I decided that I would rather run than wait.
So now I will go and get it next week. No waiting around for me.
Headed to Carlisle early, then on my way back to Columbus (where I am now).

 

stopped in indianapolis. had dinner with pops.

they wanted to know how soon i would be back in utah for reload.
ummm, ill be outta hours when i get there and i'll be outta hours when i get bAACK.
still gots 950 miles to pickup trailer. and my trailer probably won't be in the yard and i AIN'T swapping.
