Google is your friend!!!! On a broker load, broker has NO info cept address and weight. Broker- "got a GPS? Have no directions for you". Thank goodness I googled first, cause I have no idea where the dang GPS was sending me!!!!

Gotta' love them GPS's. The company i'm with now does foodservice, you should see where it trys to send me sometimes. There are times where i've unloaded and it showes i have'nt arrived yet, lol. They are a preaty good tool but i've learned to not overly trust it. Hard to beat the old map book, lol.:biggrin_25525::yes2557:

Got a little PO'd at this broker today cause they made me look like a fool. Went into the shipper and told him where I was going. Only load he has going out that day is to Ohio. Call broker.. broker "oh, thats a blind shipment, shipper not supposed to know where its going". Little late for that dude, don't ya'll think you should have shared that info with me BEFORE I showed up?? Oh and btw, shipper knows now since I'm standing in his office!!!!
Shipper and I were getting a big laugh at these people, specially when I called back and asked if the rcvr in IA, would accept BOL's for OH. "Oh, well when you leave there, go to a trk stop and we'll fax you the bol you really need". Just look at shipper and his writing down his fax number. Had it faxed there. Stupid brokers!!!!!

Hope I don't have to deal with that Broker for the month we will be hauling a Dry van!

I really think the company is keeping JJ outta Idaho so he can't work on getting our truck on the road...really starting to get peeved off!

my second load with this company was in the california dessert. i only had my phone for gps. and signal quit as soon as i got off the 40. once i got loaded. i had to camp at the TS. broker was NOWHERE to be heaard from. so i had no idea where the load was goiong. then he called up next afternoon to ask if i made delivery.

i asked him where was the load supposed to go before i told him if i made delivery or not.

@panhandle. my load last monday before i did the east cost t rip to grab that tank. was 20 miles down a single road on the back side of a very small town through farm country. and up about 25 miles of dirt to the top of mountain. no cell service and no farmers to ask for directios.
