Where's Redding at? I'll just buzz up there and visit with ya'll. lol Sure hope its cooler in NM (yea right!!), which is where I'm heading with my next load. Produce. Whoopee.

I so love being micro micro managed. Got a call when dispatched. High dollar load, must be pon dock, use load locks and blah blah blah. Wonder if they've had lots of problems with this place?

Dang glad I googled this pick up, cause both drvr directions and rting sol sucked. No where in any of them, did it say south on I215. Would have gone the wrong way for sure.

Maybe that is why they have had so many problems with them, the drivers are always late.

I hope JJ is feeling better. Does not sound like allot of fun to me.

I am sitting outside Chicago waiting to finish an 8 hour break. I got to all my pickup spots hours early. The first 2 did not hold me up more than an hour each. The third one did not expect me till close to 1500, and I arrived at 1030.
So had to sit here till 1500 waiting, thus I am doing the 8 so I can make it to Columbus on time. I have an appt at International for 0730 in the morning. They already made it a point to let me know that it is a full day service.
Hopefully they will get me a ride back to the terminal.
If not I may get a hotel room near the dealership.
I do not plan to take another load till Friday though. The week has sucked with the restart and service, I do not want to get on a night roll for next week if I can help it.

I am driving for Heartland at the moment.
I was going to leave about a month ago. But my dispatcher begged me to stay. Said he would get my miles up.
So far miles are better. But this week will suck due to maintenance issues. Nothing to do about that. They have a recall and we have to get the work done.
I should get some good runs Friday on, and I will be able to run hard till I go home again a week from this Friday.

    alex94 Thanks this.

You guys keep hanging in the nw. I'm jealous...already sucked back to PA and NC on the east coast. Just call me the "Candy Man". At least 60 Degress doesn't make the reefer run non-stop. Nothing like doing a Le Manz course in a truck. I guess I need all that practice shifting and fiddling with the Jake.

Well this post is me JJ the other 2 were Jess posting, thank god the bug is finally gone, i was a hurting unit for a while. It really sucked to have to deal with that and deliver my load running really low on fuel, ac crapping out then having to pick up a load all running with the bug and lack of sleep for 2 nights straight, needless to say i survived and did manage to get a good nights sleep last night i slept like the dead hogging the bed and jess lost out a little sleep but made up for it today while i was driving but i wouldn't wish it on anyone. JJ oh we did have a little bad luck, they shut off the water for a few hrs at the Redding TA so no bathroom or coffee, we had to stop at the first rest area we came to for the bathroom and jess got her coffee at the pilot in Central Point, OR and she was really crankie until she got her Coffee but the rest of our day went pretty well. Well got to go got to leave early in the Am to make our first delivery JJ.

Well we are at our final stop waiting to get unloaded at the Safeway in Auburn, WA first stop we were short 1 cs amazing since it was only 4 cases we had to deliver. on they way here the pete has the check engine light comes on perodicly so it needs to go by the shop to get checked out. we got a load from Ontario, Or to Stockton Ca but no load going towards Ontario yet. I will check in with Disp before we leave it might wind up being a dead head but we will see. JJ
