Well, learned a lesson about VA rest areas this time out. Don't use them and if you do, stay out of the parking spaces!!!! One I stayed at was on I 64, just west of Richmond. Are NOT made for 53 footers. End up having to back out of it in the am. Not enough room to pull thru.

Per diem is paid on the trips, Caldwell to Walnut 831 miles...23cpm taxed and the 8cpm isn't.

Just another way for the company to keep money I hate the per diem!

our company got rid of per diem almost. drivers were taking advantage of cash advances. and then complaining cuz there checks were so small. so they knocked it down to $50. not even worth my time. and if the truck needs money for whatever reason. i seem to get the shaft when payroll is figured.

we have 11 drivers. 10 of which drive legal. but can't seem to deliver on time. so they camp out to make delivery the next day and grab there reload. then they have the problem of running out of hours. so they never make it back to the yard on the weekend.

    i wouldn't have a paycheck either if i only made 3 delivers.

not many places out here take AM. EX. over the phone. whifch means cash advances to pay for tires or what not. and then they have the nerve to figure it into my payroll.

last time a tire blew out though. i was nowhere near a truckstop. no way for cash advance and no AM. EX. over the phone. had to pay for it myself. and chew there ### out cuz everyoje deletes my faxes so no one gets the bill to reimburse me.

for whatever reason. my load don't deliver till tomorrow. so i'm camped in reno again. taking my sweet arse time. if the boss sends me to tucson tomorrow, me and him gonna be throwing some words around. tucson stops receiving at 8a.m. which means driving 18 hours straight. then picking up in phoenix to come home. and sleeping the weekend out on the road cuz i'm too #### tired to come home.

i'm making the call to malone today. gonna see if i can't get the application for there lease operator faxed to me. i wanna see all the details of leasing and working through them.

wished i could find something about that admiral merchants.
