I used to be A flatbedder when i worked for SMX now Western Xpress. I think we have a little of all in us for example, i drove a U haul truck, towed my car on a trailer and hauled cattle in my stock trailer so i guess i am a little of a bedbugger, portable parkinglot and bull hauler. Just in smaller form so i guess what i am saying is we have a little bit of everything in us just driven at a smaller scale.

Jess and i are in Ripon aka (Ripoff) Ca. we will hold up until the early Am and head to Richmond, Ca to pick up our load going to Utah. JJ

I just finished reading Treydavid's thread and came to the conclusion that there are a lot of drivers that will bash and be cheerleaders than to help someone out. from the Jist of what i read is that there may have been conflicts between Trainer and Trainee but no one can really know for sure without being in there place and i mean physically. But do we bash someone who has felt like they got a raw deal. Everybody learns differently and sometimes with certian trainees a truly professional trainer will have to adjust his or her tactics to teach a student and anyone who has a mentality of money first training second should in my opinion not be a trainer but quite the opposite. then we have also to get the trainer who trained the trainees input and then make an informed opinion on what actually took place. I think all of us professionals should atleast give advice based on the info we recieve in a tactful manner and not like as what Treydavid and perfectly described as" a driver on the CB criticizing someones back instead of getting out and giving him a hand. i guess it's easier to bash than to lend a hand and there is a difference in lending a hand and holding it. I could have fired back coments but what is the point. they would have not gotten it anyway. To treydavid, keep your chin up and you will get to where you want to go regardless of what doubter's and naysayers have to say. JJ

Yo know, I'm still trying to find just the right height for dumping my bags on this 660. Kind of seems to depend on the terrain but 2" or so seem to be just about right.
!Bad, got enough room in your house for me? hehehehehehehehehehe
My trainer was lousy. I was like his 2nd student. I have learned every thing I've needed to know, on my own. I also have NOT BEEN afraid to rspectively ask for help. They're a lot of long time drvr's out there, willing to help out and pass on their knowledge, if your willing to ask. Have also learned a lot from reading these threads.

I will make it,:biggrin_25525: I'm determined to do it, If it is another company and 6 more trainers I will make it, I'm sorry it turned out this way, I'm sorry that they can't believe that I'm not the only problem in these two situations but I take the blame. Thanks Again. TD.:biggrin_255:

Good Luck 3D. Your only mistake was to keep reaching for the bait that was hooking you time after time.

I for one appreciated your posts; but after telling your final story, you should have just bowed out and off your thread gracefully, because there is no point in arguing with people who were not in the truck with you.

Please post again when you find a carrier that fits you.
