Well, I'm back in my own trk now. Really liked that 13 speed but there were just to many little things that bugged me about that freightshaker. Sides, all my stuff is in this trk and its set up the way I like it.
Not even going to get a reset in this time as I'm heading back to PA tomorrow. Getting kind of tired of all these overnight drives!!!!!

i've been loaded 14 hours now and have only managed to drive 300 miles so far.
talk about tired of overnight drives. this last trip kicked my arse. won't be going home but i've got all weekend to make delivery.
almost had an oversized load going to kentucky. but someone beat us to the load. so i'm stuck with rebar going to alb AGAIN. -
Drive safe - I understand snow is on its way!

Didn't your momma ever teach you not to use 4 letter words???
Klingon Thanks this. -
Home for a few...JJ went to doctor today and has a herniated disc
He will be seeing a specialist on Monday!
-
Hope everything with JJ works out well and that ya'lls back out here "doing the thang".
*sighs* I'm having troubles with air leaks on this trk. Get one fixed, and anudder pops up. Right now, I have a pretty massive one since one of my air bags has developed a hole. Its one of the small ones on the back of the cab. -
Ooops, almost busted my 70. Luckily, I pulled my head out before getting hit with any "time stamps". Am able to stop and will redo logs. I luv being on paper at times like this.
-
i need to redo my paper. so i can at least make it to houston for the weekend. instead of being 3 hours shy and not making delivery till monday.
i can understand people liking eobr's. TO A POINT.
i CAN'T see the liking when it comes to ruining the paycheck due to control of hours. and stopping you short of going home or finishing out the week or whatever.
and that 34 hour BULLSH--
and on another note. how in the heck can there be a shortage of truck drivers. when the entire state of texas is full. there wasn't a spot to be had all day in any town or any truckstop friday.
it took the world 12 years to grow the population from 6 billion to 7 billion. given this day and age where machines are taking over our jobs. it's not a good thing for the population to keep growing. i can see the unemployment rate hitting 50 PERCENT before too long. -
Now, now, now...this is JJs place. We should think happy thoughts. We have jobs and we bust our butts to do them well.
Stay strong and positive and always smile, but keep a sharp eye and ear out as well. Two generations ago we had to use outhouses, and we were in a great depression, one before that we were learning to drive and fly a bi-plane. That does not even consider life expectancy and medicinal advances.....too much negative waves man (sort of a quote from Kelly's Heroes)
