What town is that? I am in the WM parking lot in Brookfield, MO. Looks like a truckstop.
Oh well, nearby shopping and amenities...if you know what I mean? Just wish the feller next to me would run silent. It is 50 degrees....is silence so bad?:biggrin_2556:

i've decided that if the company don't like my requested time off. then fire me. cuz i'm tired of working 24/7/365.

i've missed out on vacations. family things. funerals. activities with the kids growing up. trips with friends. hell, i can't even take an hour off to go the #### dentist.

my life evolves araound working and i've had enough. i bust my arse. the company will survive. they don'[t pay for days off anyways. so they aren't losing anything. cept for maybe the only driver they got that actually delivers the loads in a timely manner.

camping out in pueblo colorado. i need to get to denver but 25 is closed. my next load goes to billings montana and cheyenne is completely closed down.

Nice big heavy flakes here. Looks like we're at an inch so far. Think its slowed down enough that I will now proceed to set the satellite up and watch some tv.

    Hey JJ...
LadyK posted this over in the Central Thread but I'm posting it here... Wanted to see if you have any ideas as to why this is/has happened.....

    First Weight:
    Steer - 13440
    Drive - 22800
    Trailer - 34240

    Reweight: (Lengthened to 40')
    S - 13820
    D - 23760
    T - 32820

Thinking the original CAT scale was off - rescaled at a different CAT scale: (40' length)

    S - 13600
    D - 23200
    T - 33240

The only thing we could think of is that the back end is loaded so heavy and the front so light that its pulling up on the 5th wheel making the steers abnormally heavy... NEVER seen this happen before!!

Oh and yes - our 5th wheel is all the way back and hasn't moved...

Yup, I posted them in the Central thread.

Happens more with air ride trailers than the sprung ones that I haul now. But can still happen. If you dumped the airbags for the trailer on the scale it probibly would have evened out some. Try it on a free scale some time when it is heavy in the rear.
