well we will be there kind of. We have a drop and hook in SLC but wont be able to leave here until 2am and that will only be long enough to grab the trl and head for meridian. they want us back in Caldwell ASAP for this load going to Cali. JJ

we will eventually get an authority but we want to start out as true O/O and sign on with a Company for a while until we get a firm grasp on the in's and out's of working with brokers and establishing our own accts., not to mention running with a Company for a little while will give us a chance to save up for our own trailer and maybe a few additional trucks and trailers. I dont know if it will ever happen but at least it's nice to think of the possibilities.:biggrin_25525: JJ

Our Yard is in San Jose so I mostly do a shuttle run between La Area and drop it in San Jose and get a loaded trailer to bring back down,Not very often do I get to layover in the north, then I get to pedal the shipments w a straight truck in LA, do some pickups and do it all over again. That being said, yesterday was completely diferent, had a 15.6 high by 14.8 in wideload that went south to La area, had to take it down 5 to 58 accross to Four Corners to 395 to 15 and come in from the west on the 210 to get where It was going, 511 miles to get from the Bay to LA

    i remember that story.

iceberg has the best milkshakes. haven't been for awhile as there are only 3 in the valley, none of which are close to me. so it's been awhile since i stopped in. things might have changed since my last visit.
